Title: Family reunion at 5302

It has been a long hot weekend at the Playmo Family reunion!

Phew! We almost finished building the new house just in time for the invasion by our family for the annual summer reunion. Paint was still drying as they drove up in their fleet of green cars, including a spiffy caravan. We had to improvise a lot...somewhere we misplaced the tabletops during the hectic move to 5302. But who needs tabletops in the grand scheme of life?

Our abundance of hosting guests in unfinished homes told us that they would not care what state our new house was in; they just wanted good food, company, air conditioning and conversation for 3 days. The last guests just drove off, and we are now collapsed on the sofas nursing mango smoothies and sore feet and throats from talking so much and sleeping so little. But it was a fun reunion in a house grand enough to hold 41 adults and 30 kids plus 8 dogs and 4 cats.

Just a few quick photos before we zone out on the sofa for a few hours. if you are planning a big family reunion, 5302 may be the place for you, too. Cheers, Pgal :wave:

We are still in recovery from the family reunion at 5302 last weekend. Very sad to wave goodbye to the grandparents as they sped off to quieter places. Their attic apartment awaits their next visit.

The bathroom kids passed out on the floor with Speedo Dad in the pile up. They are still asleep two days later....guess we must wake them soon and feed them some leftovers.

The rest of the guests went home when we ran out of food and drinks, which took another day. Ooops...they forgot to clean up the place! Guess the dogs will have to take care of that chore.

Hope your plans for a 5302 family reunion are going well. Holler if you need help planning the darn thing. Pgal :wave:
