When I made Lady McAngus I said that I wanted to try painting another lady using different colours. It's taken me a while but here she is.....

Although the ball gown does show off the colour of the pearlescent paint, I do like her without; I think she looks ready for travelling...

This tartan is loosly based on a McGregor tartan neckerchief I had when I was a Cub Scout leader years ago.
The original idea of painting her was to try to sell the customs to generate some money to buy more Playmobil for Kirkbean Exhibition, but when I'd finished I couldn't bring myself to sell her :-[
... so I'm selling Lego instead ;D
I plan to try doing more with different colour, but not until after the end of July!

Really like the red and green combo!

Oh, she's beautiful! I can see why you can't bring yourself to part with her. But I know she'd sell! Fantastic job.

Wow, Elaine, she's spectacular, and well worth keeping.

I second all the previous posts Elaine!!! She is magnificent!!!!

Lovely colors and outfit! Definitely gotta keep this lady!
Cheers, Pgal

Really beautifull, well done! :glasses:

She's a fine lady and it's alway better to sell Lego in stead of Playmo.
-
I love her Elaine! IMO she looks better without the big skirt....gorgeous!

She's amazing and I love the shade of green.
I also would not be able to part with it. :)

Beautiful work! That's a great color combination

She is so beautiful! I like that she looks just as pretty without the big skirt; that way she can actually sit down at the table at dinner parties!
-
 Wonderful job Elaine! I really like the versatility of the two looks. Both are gorgeous!

Thought I'd replied to everyone's comments but I must not have pressed 'post' :-[
So Thank you all :thanks: I don't feel so guilty about keeping her now!
I'm sure I'lll find a place for her at the Kirkbean Exhibition.
Oh, BTW the Lego sold very well so I was able to buy more Playmo, including two large lots of steck and another circus tent ;D

Oh, I remember how happy I was when we sold off Chris's legos to buy playmobil!
Elaine, you should do a how-to topic on painting plaid patterns. :yup:
