Title: YARI!

Hey guys!

Here is my version of the Japanese long spear with straight blade aka the Yari. I made several and in the picture I dismantled one to show you how it's done. I drilled a hole in the spear shaft and one in the gladius blade. They're connected with a tiny iron piece (from a paper clip).
Presented to you by my new Ashigaru (Japanese footman), who would like to have a better helmet but can only afford a paper one for now.  :lol:

ah so! you have thrown in your gaunlet for the making of the 'Yari' I assume you have a mini power drill for mass production even ;) envy envy envy  :love:
will be hard for me to better this :P (how about you WoT?)

as for your Ashigaru(foot soldier), YOSHI!! you dont have to wait for PM with your skill and printer :) ....look forward to see an army of them!!

I've already started on the Kabuto, I'm using a new resin (for me) called Green Stuff. I'll see what it's worth...

I think I am done with Samurai weapons,
At least until I finish the yumi. (The proper yumi) :)9
As for creating the Yari, I don't think I will.
One cool pole weapon is enough for me. (For now.)
I don't have enough people to make more weapons for. :P

great ! your idea to take a roman sword is great and it's exactly the good seize !! your design can be on all surface and all seize , perfect for little details ...

waiting to see your Kabuto(samurai helmet) ;) ...meanwhile I've resigned myself to accepting the kabuto from the new samurai special :P

too bad WoT, but thanks from kicking off these 'race' for making samurai weapons :)
