Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to find someone willing to place a large DS order for me outside the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg).
As our DS won't accept orders larger than 25 lines and I need about 437 different parts, it would cost me about € 100,- just to get it posted (18 boxes x € 5,75 mail costs).
So can/will someone help me please?

Hi Saskia,
I've helped people before via UK DS. Orders over £50 are post free to a UK address. After that, I can send the order to you via Royal Mail. The cheapest way is to split it down into parcels of not more than 2kg as above that weight prices rise sharply.
If you're interested, I can send you an order form I use with UK DS and you can complete it and email it back to me.

Hi Gordon,
That would be wonderfull. Please do mail the order form.
Thanks,
Saskia

Hi Saskia,
Has this allways been the case in the Netherlands or is there a (recent) change to a limitation of ordering parts?
I'm wondering if this would/could also be(come) the case in Belgium.
I've made relatively big DS-orders some years ago (ca. 3 excel-pages), but haven't made any the past 2 years...

I am afraid Saskia is right! I tried to order 360x klicky base/ground plates and Playmobil BENELUX replied it was not possible as they were there to assist clients with missing or broken parts!! I also once mailed an excelsheet full of numbers etc. but they replied with the orderform I had to use, with only about 5 lines I believe..... so I ended up using 8 of these forms and send them through mail........
I believe there might have been a change of policy or a new manager, He might forget there is also money to be earned from those big orders, DS-Germany has no trouble at all delivering numberous parts!!!

Darn! I hope they'll change there attitude back to like it was in the past and like it has allways been in Germany and most countries, otherwise we're in trouble.

Yes, there is a new manager for Playmobil Northern Europe...

Hopefully the UK isn't part of Northern Europe! In any case, I would have thought Geobra would have had a company policy on this.

I am appalled and amazed at how difficult it is to order parts and actually receive them in the US. I have placed 5 large orders over 200USD each in the past 3 months, and each time about half of the parts arrive even though I was told each time that they had the parts.
What gives? Do they not pull the parts from their stock when you pay for them with your order over the phone? And getting flowers that are not red or yellow is next to impossible. Guess I will just keep placing orders and hold my breath. I now have 20 bottom parts to to tables that have no tops because they send the bottoms without the tops I have purchased.
Any tips for getting orange, purple, blue or pink flowers? Same deal with chairs...re they always out of stock? It would be great to hear from anyone who can provide advice about how to actually get the parts you need. Thanks!!! ::)

I'm afraid this is a constant problem with USA DS, playmogal. You can call the DS & tell them that the table assembly was to come complete, & that's what you paid for. Most of the time they will research the claim & either send the missing parts, or issue a credit.

Will definitely call them because they have been nice to me over the phone. Thanks!
