Easter is coming up! and I'm so in the spirit ;D I don't celebrate easter with the bunnies or egg hunting as all that is not part of my country's culture but i want to celebrate it that way so badly! Hence i decided to open a thread where we could show our collection of easter eggs or easter related pictures - here are mine!

Very impressive egg collection! I think I have two eggs: boy in silver Jeep, and zookeeper with baby pandas. I didn't see these in your pics, but I'm very good at overlooking things!
Wonderful card. I love it!
-
I forgot to mention that I love the eggs in the basket! Great idea!
-
well I can't see the pics but I can tell you I have 3 eggs and one bunny! I'll post pics soon! (though I don't know where the eggs are.... I'll just post the clickies :D )
-
Wow Luis, you have loads of them! I love the photo of you and Felix painting the eggs. :)

I should buy more eggs. I see now that they are interesting. There are some unique clickies in that theme. I really love the pirate with the little monkey!
-
The "Victorian"* Red Lady and the "Pirate with black tricorne, striped pants and small monkey up his sleeve" are my personal favourites. :)
(*): I regard her rather belonging in the 18th century then in the Victorian Age.

I don't have any of those old-style eggs at all. I've got a few of the new huge eggs, but they've been incorporated with the rest of the collection and the eggs, I don't know if i even still have most of them. Some of those klickys in the old-style eggs are awesome, though!

the eggs now are bigger??? :hmm:

Yes, new eggs are about twice the size as the old ones. It's so that a horse can fit in them and other larger accessories. Last year was the first year for that I believe. I have a lot of them but they are mixed into the rest of my collection.
Here is the picture of all of the bunnies that were ever made. I do not understand why they have not done an egg with one of hte bunny people in it? It seems like such a natural.

i forgot to show mine. I have only one. the kid bunny with the backpack and the magnifier.
-
I was very lucky to be present at a meeting in Zirndorf with fellow collectors from Europe some years ago, and several of the old-style eggs were available in large quantities at the Funpark-shop... Many of us got the shoppingbags filled up... :-[
That's were I got mine, and some on ebay or through German collectors on Klickywelt. Some examples I have had multiple for customizing or trading. I keep only one of each egg I have in MISB-condition, but if the need for specific parts would arise, those will get customized too :o.
Some eggs I don't really have interest in (because not suitable for/fitting in the theme I collect, or just a re-release of a klicky), I don't bother to get or buy... Though I occasionally try to get one from the Knight's theme, if it is a really nice one.
Thanks for the pics, Luis. It's a really nice overview! :)

What a great thread! Good idea Luis! I have thrown away most of the eggs and my egg klickies are mixed up with other kilickies so i'll have to go look for them...

The egg basket is a fantastic idea! You have a wonderful egg collection. ;D I've always been so stringent about staying within two or three (maybe four or five....) themes that I have neglected so many wonderful sets :( I think now, though I am going to start setting up seasonal/holiday scenes, which means I better start Playmobil buying again, starting with some of those eggs. 8-)

 Sounds like something I'd do! Too bad I've already put it away. I'll just have to try really hard to remember to fix it next time.

Are you talking about the green 4915?? I have one totally brand new, but I have offered this to another playmofriend for exchange. I have not heard from him for very long to get our deal sealed. And would like to offer this to you if it is freed.

dont worry, just kidding :P
-
Oh YES....a RHINO!!! Are they available in EUROPE now?? I so want one of this...
and I have got email from quite a lot of PF regarding the eggs. Actually....I believe I can still get the red victorian lady and some other eggs. I earlier thought they are all discontinued, but I am wrong. I would go hunt for that if some pf are interested. They are around 4-5 GBP or 7.5 USD. You know.....USD is crumbling down and there is no good way to do the conversion. BLAME THE QE2
