Title: Foulard
Post by: Malone on March 29, 2011, 09:23:42
I make a "foulard".....is a very simple piece but a great change for the image of our Playmobil....
This is well for any Age....from Ancient Times to Today....
Is compattible with a lot of hair and hats and can rotate the head free.....the Playmo-look dont change.
I make some sugestions....I hope you like this.

Agreed! These pieces would be super for them.
But also as you point out Javier, the rest of times too. ;)

:hatoff: wow I love especially the Foreign Legion guy i love the rolled up sleeves as well. Is it resin or one of those two part clay things - sorry I can't think what they're called - that dries hard?

Anyway a fab job!

a good question from our best PM-compatible part maker today

...

but difficult one to answer, Malone!
the 'commonest' part would be the coolie hat (for chinese peasents, manchu soldiers, japanese ashigaru and even chinese/japanese civilians...from rickshaw pullers, to paddy field farmers to even Hong Kong colonial policemen)
if you don't render the surface, they can be imagined as, from straw to iron hats!

....but what if Geobra makes one later, are you gonna sue them?  :P  ;D
like your adjustable Foulard here, if you do, design it to be adjustable, so when we angle the front brim up or down, it will give a different character to each wearer, a ninja disguised as a monk will keep his front brim below eye-level, a resting western railroad worker might wear it lazily with the brim pointing upwards to catch the wind for his face and so on...I know this will be only too easy for you  ;)
