Title: Raven - 4290 Pirate Ship Custom
Post by: Emma.J on March 06, 2011, 16:23:00: I started painting some ships in January and I've only just found the time to set up a small backdrop to take some pictures to share with you all.

My first one is 4290 the convertable pirate ship. Originally it had a red hull with tan deck. I dismantled the ship and spray painted the deck and masts black. I then hand painted all the extra details in gold and added gold and blue stickers along the edge of the hull.

I've even decorated the cannons.

This ship has a reversible figurehead so I've added a painted raven to it and named the ship front and back.

As you can see from above I've also handpainted the cabin windows.

No the chains are from gold stickers I carefully put everywhere.

Unless... me pirates habits would surface....and I would forget about the "Code". Hehe.
I could opt for gathering my fleet together and use shock-and-awe to overwhelme him. >:D Your fleet (and you :*) ) are worth capturing! :lol:

What I do hate is this new cannons, they look ridiculous, IMO. Will have to see how many old spares I have, when I get a new pirate ship - it WILL happen eventually (that no sense thing.. embarassing!).
