Title: My Nurenberg's Army (Infantry)
Post by: playmojager on January 27, 2011, 17:14:20
Hello my friends,
I am posting some photos of my Nurenberg's army. There is the central phalanx with 50 soldiers, 20 armed with hallebards in the first two lines and 30 armed with pikes and shields in the last three rows.
They supported at their right flank with 15 arquebusiers (I can make them 20) and at the left rank by light infantry consisting by 10 crossbowmen (green) and 10 short spear foot soldiers (yellow ones).
Behind there is Nurenmbergs artillerry with 4 guns and also 10 crossbowmen.
In front of them stands the king with 4 bodyguards, officers, a bugler, 2 drummers and the standard bearer.

Awesome Nuremberg army Playmojager.
It is very impressive,
They alone would make a tough obstacle for my Medieval army to beat. :o
And I see more in your castle! :wow:

Excellent setup!
The guns on your sides are great defensive positions.

Soon- ish  there will be massive Playmobil war  in Greece between me and grangel. I admire his confidence that he can crash my 1500 klicky army but things will get challening if Sir Wolf allies with him ( questonnable). Others may be drawn in this conflict .....

A new photo with more army. The castle guards (20 black knights, infantry and cavalry) are out in formation (7 cavalrymen and 13 infantrymen) with about 30 "herolds" (my "Byzantine" Elite Unit) and 35 heavy cavalrymen, 20 klibanarious and 15 katafracts (the blue ones, mine creation).
There is also some more units and I will post new photos when I have the time to set up all together.
I hope you like it.

Well, my king isn't that figure, I just put him for the pics, the real king will be a personal creation and something very original, I will paint his armor and heraldry with colors. I will show you pics when it is ready.
