Just playing around with some klickies. A lot of these are actually customized, but a lot are also stock. Used the small steck castle as a backdrop, as well as a jousting set to create the parade perimeter.
Be sure and scroll right as well, as these are a bit wide. :)
Enjoy! :D

Members from neighboring kingdoms as well as peasants, mercenaries, and forest dwellers alike have come to patron this royal event!

Even Unicorns have come to pay homage!

The King's men haul behind them an impressive show of wealth and fortune well-guarded and surrounded by his finest knights!

Nice parade, full of knights in shining armor! Good job with your backdrops, etc. And I like the two boys trying to hold back the unicorn colt.

Do you mean the dirt road? lol, that's my ugly living room beige coloured carpet. Do you know how hard it was to get the klickies to stand on a threaded carpet? very difficult!
And the fence is actually the fence that comes with the jousting set. (the median between the jousting opponents)
I can't wait to take pics of my new customized 3268 castle with steck additions!

I remember when I had a knight army that size.
So long ago... ;) ;D

by "that size" so long ago, do you mean small in number? (I'm just starting to collect knights, fyi, so I still need more klickies to swell my ranks) :D
How big is your army now?
-
It's not nice to make fun of the size of a guy's collection. ;D

I wasn't making fun, I was reminiscing. :)
My army is... well not that much bigger. :P
I have a unit of spear militia, some heavy infantry mostly comprised of my barons forces...
And then cavalry comprised of my Knights and Barons, and also my King's guard. :)
A few archers... And that's all. (Oops, forgot my squires... ;) )

I was just teasing, WoT. It's ok!

What to do about archers? I have literally two crossbowmen, and then one robin hood normal archer, but my main question is how to pose an archer with an arrow drawn? THe archers I have come with fake arrows, 3 bound together at the point just so they can fold up and tuck away in the arrow bin. Obviously a klicky's hand is too big to hold an arrow, much less in a drawn position ready to fire. What do you do for your archers?

Never actually show them with a drawn arrow...
Either show them about to/drawing an arrow,
Or show them after just having fired the arrow.
Or you can cut all the arrows separate,
then glue/tac them onto the klicky's hand or bow.
I have done that before, and it looks pretty good. :)

A long time ago the arrows used to come individually. This set: http://collectobil.com/catalogue/items/3733.htm and the others from that era have little red arrows with points on them. but they were too narrow for a klicky to hold anyway, and they were always falling out.
