Title: those versatile old topees

cork helmets covered by white cloth, with a cloth band(puggaree) and small holes for ventilation. often with metal insignia and sometimes decorated with a brass spike or ball

these toppees was used by so many fighting forces and during peace-keeping times. their shapes can vary from those Playmobil safari helmets to Playmobil's old british bobby helmet (which I hope Geobra will bring back some day as an updated special, (does anybody know if that old mould has been decommissioned?)

...meanwhile these moulded ones (I got from Michael aka H.Martini) are available for Geobra (if ever they need to commission a new mould...in return Geobra can send a few sets of Playmos to Michael,   ;D and I'll be happy just to buy many more toppees from DS and explode with more customs from the 1900s ;)

Really great hats!!! I love them  :love:, and the custom figures that go with them  ;D!!
I too wish there will be a London Bobby special some day...

Wonderful custom helmets and figures, cheng.   :wave:  Those two customs are simple and elegant, the ideal custom result in many ways.

Michael aka Henry_Martini casted only a few for himself and I was lucky to receive these two from him...I dont know if his mould is retired :P
...Spanish board's Malone also casted quite a lot but is of a different shape, maybe you can try to contact him.  :)
