who would have thought such a highly-ornamented level of detail and beauty could be embodied in such a small piece!  Emma, my continued adoration for you and your works has yet to be bested!  Exquisite!

If I may impose upon you, would you, perhaps reveal some insight into the making of (materials, proceedure, inspiration)?  I'm particulularly interested in the gold embroidery ornamentaion and how you achieved that feat.  Forgive me, but I simply cannot get enough of your art, nor can I satiate my intrigue regarding the efforts, thoughts, and inspirations you inject into them :).  Would you care to entertain my intrigue, s'il vous plaît?

I've seen such stuff in card making sets.

Very good custum! Again, I am in awe.

Did it take you long to think this one up? Or did you just sit down and do it?

The red hair ***** (as many, mostly her own subjects, called her mostly behind her back) who took England from a second (or even third) rate backwater into the first rate nation for the next hundred years…
¡All Hail! (Yes, that means you Americans too…) :wow:

Down the British!   ;D

Beautifully done, especially considering we're seeing them larger-than-life-size.  My sausage fingers could never manage that kind of detail work.

Lovely custom again Emma.   :wow:  :wow:
I think the use of the gold peel offs is a great idea.  I use these all the time in cardmaking but would never have thought to use them in customising klickies!
I am in the process of sorting out my craft materials and have various small beads etc. that I don't need.  Let me know if they will be of any use to you.

i think the forum is running out of english superlatives to describe your customs.  as i recall, queen elizabeth I was quite fussy about her appearance and i suspect she would be flattered and pleased at your figure for her.  i agree with skypurr, the card craft resource is a great idea.  just curious are you going to customize an older queen elizabeth I as well?

Ehm, I think Emma is British.

Yes I'm proud to say I am ENGLISH  0)

:-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ Gosh, my oh my...... Gee Wiz...... THANKS ALL  :thanks:

Erm, such high praise from everyone....wow  :glasses:

I've been meaning to do these sort of figures for ages and I finally managed to sit down and try them last week, I have to admit they came out even better than I thought they would. I'm now working on a few more men and women but have currently run out of collars etc, so I'm waiting on a spares order from DS.  ???

.......  i agree with skypurr, the card craft resource is a great idea.  just curious are you going to customize an older queen elizabeth I as well?
kaeth

Do you mean when she had a white painted face or just an older style of clothing? The only white faces I have belong to ghosts and I'm not sure that would look right, so no plans at the moment.

Oh I forgot who asked but yes the gold on the skirts are from sticky labels I cut out to shape.
