Those are wonderful creations, Emma.  You really do capture the atmosphere of the Victorians' rooms and the photography is oustanding.

WoT sums up my overall feeling.

8-) Thanks all for your kind words, I've been asked where I get my stuff. Nearly all the little extra items, bottle, ornaments, chess boards, pictures etc are 1:12th scale dolls house items I buy from shows and dolls house shops. Playmobil is more 1:16th scale which is a lot harder to find but most of the larger scale accessories will fit but you must see them in person to know if they will. Furniture and large items and even some accessories are too big for Playmobil so I usually carry a klicky around with me to make sure every thing is to scale.

I can only agree with what people have said. Your work is a feast for the eyes.

How much time do you spend on making these? Hows your INN coming along...any updates on any of your other projects?

:-\ ok asked an update on my other work.

Tudor manor has been dismantled until I have some room to rebuild then I will start on the furnishings.

tudor inn - never really built yet  :'(

Balloons - tragic accident my first balloon fell of shelf and all the basket was smashed. second balloon finished, 3rd just painted.

5302 french bistro - painted, furnished just waiting for lights then I can add carpets.

Fairy tree house  - just started, outside painted need to add lights before anything else

Cluedo house - finished  :D

All the rest are in the planning stages .... tudor water mill, tudor bridge house will be next.

As to how much time errr depends on the room, at a guess 5 -20 hrs if I've had to paint the furniture. Paint a house depends on good weather as I paint these outdoors, so a week or two.
Customised figures if all goes well one or two an evening. I don't really watch the clock and I often have to leave things for a while as glue or paint dries etc

I love the beauty you share with us through your eyes!
And your creativity, craftsmanship, and aesthetic taste is so remarkable!
I wonder what your real house looks like, if this is any indication of your tastes and sense of design!

Well done!

That said,

will you marry me?
