Hello All!
I am an avid toy Collector and Wargamer.  Wargaming is how I got into Playmobil over 20 years ago.  I am part of a group that Wargames with 54mm Toy Soldiers.  For Scenery and Buildings we always used Playmobil.  The first version Castle system are an all time favorite, also the Pirate ship.  In the early 90's when the Knights and Pirates changed and became more detailed I really took notice of the figure themselves.  My wife is the one one bought me some of those Pirate and Knight sets.  I have been in love with the little guys ever since!   I now have a vast collection of Playmobil.  Thanks to my wargaming pals and my wife!  At our wedding in '94 we gave out the first version Playmobil Specials as our wedding favors.  That was my wife's idea!   :lol:

Sorry guys, what are wedding favors? Are they like avatars of the bride and groom you put on the wedding cake? We had a camel and a cow (don't ask!).

I have seen the Playmobil Vampire, Detective ,and Indian from our wedding in my friends curio cases along with Crystal and fine China!  It Rocks!

A wedding favour is a small gift you give to everyone who comes to your wedding!
So we gift-wrapped over 100 of the first issue playmobil specials for our wedding guests!
I forget what we had on top the cake!?!?

That is a great idea using playmo specials as wedding favors. Wish I'd thought of it! But i was still a "closet" collector back then.
