Title: A playmobil draw competition
Post by: Wolf Knight on August 10, 2010, 17:32:54
Anybody can figure out how many klickies does this big klicky have inside it?

(http://img38.imagefra.me/img/img38/8/8/10/baldthar/f_2ydcjuc7930m_b33828d.jpg) (http://imagefra.me/)

Its been here at my local toy shop for a few weeks now!!! The options are: 300, 800, or 1500 klickies? It might not be easy to make it out because of the photograph, but this is actually a child klicky. So if you think of a male lifesize klicky, I believe you can calculate more or less its size...

The klickies inside only fill the main body and legs. I would say they are 800. The winner gets a 4325 - School Gym (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4325)

I would say not more than 300.

If I win I'll PM you my address so you can send my prize.

They had the same competition at my local shop earlier this year, but I don't think they gave you options, you had to guess (or spend a lot of time counting them  ;D)

That's the same thing I'm wondering. Do you really get the prize?

Does this mean that everyone who guesses the correct answer win the prize, or do they go into a draw to win it? :-\

Damo :)

Well the rule clearly states that whoever gets the correct klicky number, and I do think its 300, gets the set. I pressume, as things are done usually, they'll just see the forms, keep the ones with the correct number, and choose one of them randomly to give the prize. Then again, maybe they'll just give the prize to a good customer, or a relative of the staff, or to the child of the toy store manager!

That would indeed be very time consuming...to say the least!!!

so the correct is one of these three options ? how you know the result ,if many people are correct they will all win it?

I just speculate based on the observation of the size of the klicky and the possition of the klickies that are in it!
I doubt its a fair competition. As I said above, they'll probably give the set to a person of their own choosing...if they give it t all...

So, did you decide already? :)
I suggest just to make it sure, you should throw in three cards with all options. Maybe they just sort out the right answers.

best,
socrates

P.S.:
Then again, maybe they'll just give the prize to a good customer, or a relative of the staff, or to the child of the toy store manager!

And this is the same reason why the greek DS does not work properly...  ;)

     Sorry I am a bit tired... I meant 800 in the second post... sorry... This naughty idea did cross my mind! I would not do itof course  0) (unless the prize was an old medieval set  >:D), but I am sure there are many people who might have thought about doing it!!!

It's nice that they give you options!  Unless there's a lot of real estate in that large klicky that I'm not seeing, I'd guess 300 among the three options.

So Wolfie, you reneging on your deal now?  :hmm:

Being in the USA, I should probably try to sue you for breach of promise.  >:D

Usually these competitions don't give options, you just choose a number, and the closest is the winner. Maybe they felt they had to dumb it down for children, but I think that's a shame.

Do I at least get leniency for giving you the options?    :prays:
