In the last two days I have been to 2 different Target stores here in St. Louis. Both times, aftering looking for them myself, a clerk looked 'Playmobil' up in their store system and said that Playmobil is not listed in their store.
I have not looked online, but has anyone else noticed the lack of Playmobil in their local Target store?

I noticed a decrease in the assortment several months ago. They don't have as many sets as they used to have...
-
Does it mean we will no longer see target exclusive sets in the future?
And do all of you notice duo pack blister sets are now also officially available in the European market? instead of first emerging from the U.S. market :hmm:
-
The same here. There has been a decrease and there's only like 5 sets left.

I was at my local Target today and while the Playmobil aisle sign was up, the space was filled with other toy brands.

Hi
There is some interesting insight about Target & Playmobil in shopping (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=5155.0)

Every target that I have gone to in the last six months have a smaller and smaller selection of playmobil.
-
The Targets and Wal-Marts around here have been out for months.
-
34 items listed online at target.com. Only 15 of them are available - the rest are "out of stock".
(For those too lazy to type it in themselves http://www.target.com/s?keywords=playmobil&searchNodeID=1038576%7C1287991011&ref=sr_bx_1_1&x=22&y=17 (http://www.target.com/s?keywords=playmobil&searchNodeID=1038576%7C1287991011&ref=sr_bx_1_1&x=22&y=17) ... )

yes, there's not even an aisle sign for playmo at the target near me. Just a few sets on clearance on the endcaps.

Like I said near my Target there's a few, well also in the website. I got in it yesterday and they only had like 5 sets left.

I also noticed was becoming more and more rare at target where I live in VA. Then the last time I was there (a few days ago) it was completely gone! I hope they will get more playmobil items in and not stop selling it there for good!

Just went to a target this morning and there is not a playmobil section anymore. Lego has taken over.

Hi all,
I read this post this morning, so when I went to my Target to get meds
and stuff, I checked for Playmobil.
There was a bunch of African wild life boxes!
4826, 4832, 4829, 4828, and 4830. There were some spaces reserved for
new blue boxes on the way.
So maybe this is a lull between stocking up for Christmas. The "toy guy"
said they were still carrying Playmobil, "unless something happens"........
Hopefully,
Jimbo

That's great news, Jimbo! ;D

I don't know like Jimbo said that maybe here also they are going to put more in Christmas.
Oh and guess everyone what I saw when I went to Barnes And Novels, (Its a libray here in the US).....Playmobil! They had them in a small section of toys! They had the whole collection of the new safari, some of the aquarium, some dragonland knights, some beach stuff like the police of a four wheeler, some other knights, and some other sets. I was going to buy some but them I saw the prices, and they were extremely high! Like the police guy, it was for $16.00. (3655) The new dragon with black dragon with a knight on top, was $40.00. (4838) And so on. The safari house was for 75.00 and the jeep was for 35.00! :o :o :o
