Being from the south I was pleased to find this set. 100% complete and the box in pristine condition. Sorry only one pic though.

Cool Wagon! How much did you pay?
There's one in a mixed auction of Western stuff I won a few days ago on eBay, but I'm still waiting for it to arrive. The main part of the auction wasthe Forts Glory and Bravo, though I was very excited to get this wagon included. I'm going to set them up as my Union and Confederate Forts.

Hello
Great acquisition there Elric. I have several of these but I have yet to get the box for it. It is a great set for the western war scenes and our armies never seem to have enough of them. One thing I never looked into is what that logo " Virginia Mountain Boys" is all about. I always thought it looked out of place :hmm:

Congratz with your new set Elric and thanks for posting the picture. It is indeed a great looking set, The barrel on the side of the wagon is something I had never seen before and is a great piece!

I have a couple of these as well, and they are among my favourite wagons - ideal for making a convoy! ;D

Hey Martin, I paid 41 dollars off ebay. I think it is kinda high but I'm happy with it so that's what counts.
I was looking at the catalog book that came with it and was longing for the buildings and sets that pm used to produce. The buildings are pretty darn cool!

That's a very nice set. I bought one of them off e-bay last year too but have yet to get around to do anything with it yet. The side barrel is great, but I wasn't able to order any additional ones from DS to put on my other wagons.
I agree with Rasputin in that I fail to understand the "Virginian Mountain Boys" printing. I just put a regular non-printed one on mine. By the way, welcome back Rasputin! We missed you! :)

Great find Elric, some nice pieces in that set. Were the Virginian Mountain Boys an actual confederate battalion or regiment?

I thought I'd google it and didnt get any wiser yet what the Virginian Mountain boys actually were, however I came across one with just one none western Klicky for 10 GBP.
