fort union was probably produced as an extra box of extension for fort randal or to be connected with headquarters set 3429 (1977-1981)... it was issued in 1976 and remained on production until 1981
collector second edition page 40....

I have looked at the Klickywelt topic. Click HERE (http://www.klickywelt.de/viewtopic.php?t=21464&highlight=fort+reno).

If 3191 was an exclusive set, was it made for a company like Karstadt or was it made by a Playmobil franchise company? Lots of questions.

Karstadt is a retail store and Antex is a franchise company.

And, the only photo that I was able to find of "3191" did not show the box. (see attachment)

it is difficult to find photos of the boxes of those sets on the net you can see it on the collector's book!! i didn't understand that with Karstadt playmobil was making products for a specific  retail store ?

Playmobil has done this for other German stores too.

The stores tend to be big department stores with big toy departments.  They will order the product being made for them in thousands and Playmobil know that they (Playmobil) will sell them all to the store.
