These photos are fantastic Bill,  :wow: :wow: :wow:
Your attention to detail is second to none.
I didn't realise that so much equipment was carried.
Does each vehicle carry the same equipment or is it divided between vehicles?
(This certainly makes my one little 3781 look very tame! :-[ )

Thank you Elaine for the positive compliment! Both Rescue Units 26 & 27 carry the exact same equipment. That is why I showed only one. The equipment shown in the first picture is the same on each of the trucks.

Thank you flatcat! I must give credit to Tim-W & Playmofire for the early support of my diving in to the customization dark side of Playmobil! I continue to develop & design new projects, some never to be seen by anyone & others receiving very positive reviews by fellow collectors. I'll continue on my quest!

Hi Bill.

Sure! An easy way that you can  a picture of my avataris to go to photos and you can find my new avatar picture in the newly listed section. Or just tell me if you still want another picture of my avatar.By the way you might not be able to see the oxygen tank and mask, but it does have one.

Magnificent photo story Bill!  Like Elaine said your attention to detail is incredible, you should be making training films or public service visits to schools. These type of layouts explain the workings of such diverse and complex rescue systems and the training needed to operate them, very inspirational! Congratulations and thank you.

Under which picture section is your avatar shown ???? I'm having trouble finding it.

All you have to do is go to photos, then it should appear the first picture in last additions.
But don't worry any more I put a picture here.

As always Bill, fantastic detail and imagination :wow:

As a traffic cop i get to see fire trucks a lot at collisions and love seeing their equipment in real life and realised in playmobil. My crown victoria is very boring and only has a laser, measuring tapes, cones, flares etc. You and Gordon's photos are always full of detail and remind me of work a lot. Anyhoo, keep up the great work.

I hadn't gotten to this topic yet, but Abbot's comment made it pop and what a pleasant surprise it was.

With all this awesome work floating around the site I am more and more contemplating some customization jobs. Seeing your work has me convinced that it is more then worth not having some things in their original form anymore.

The attention to detail is truly amazing. You planning on doing a photo story so we can see the crews and there tools in action?

*sits on the edge of his seat*

Thank you for the positive comments, Karim, Abbott, & Gis! To answer your questions Gis, when I finish getting settled in our new residence, I plan on doing a series of photo stories about plane crashes, showing the PCIAFD in action, along with photo stories regarding my; construction, nautical exploration, harbor, & polar exploration themes. There is one thing I need to mention about all of my custom projects. All but 2 are able to be returned to their original state. The 10 x 3526 fire engines that are shown in the story telling & custom boards here are all able to be returned to their original condition if replacement parts needed to complete their restoration processes are found.

When I was a firefighter/rescue tech, I used Vetter air bags in actual rescues. I made my PCFD & PCIAFD sets in two versions, noninflated, & inflated. I can show the air bags being placed under something that needs lifting, & in the next picture showing the air bags inflated like they are actually lifting the object. The manufacturing process I use takes a lot of time, but in my opinion it is well worth it for realistic reasons.
