Great job on the lighting in those first too, good atmospheric lighting like that is hard to do. Great scene, and welcome to PlaymoFriends

WHoa, smuggler's cave looks like a pretty sweet pirate hang out.  Keep creating, you've got a great eye.  ;D

Wow, these look super, SJ. You are very creative! :)

Some really cool sets you have there.
Your diorama makes me want to go out and buy that giant black octopus. (Another thing to add to the never-ending list!) It looks even better out of the box than I expected it to. 8-)

I like the way you have used reflective material to create some of the water. Is it a sheet of plastic, or something else?

Nice scene! I thought the skeleton creature was from the Ghost Pirates at first but realise it isn't, what set was that from?

Nice!

I, like Sylvia, am curious about what you used for the water--it looks great!

Betsy :)

Hi Sylvia and Betsy,
That "water" is actually a special type of film called "fantasy film", "Mum" uses it for "card making". She also has some "red" "fantasy film", which has "given" me an " :!: "  Better get "klicking!"  :camera:

Thanks for your wise words of encouragement! :wow: Here's a pic of the whole scene if you're interested.......

Martin, the skeleton you were talking about (if you mean the dinosaur) is the set 3040, dinosaur dungeon for the jungle theme. It fits in with a lot of settings, and i think I might use it for my next set of photos. (which i hope to take tomorrow) If you mean the skeleton pirate  :arrr: by the boat, I'm not sure of the exact number, but iirc, i think it was a playmobil special. Hope this helps!

3040-  from the jungle theme-  No ghost pirates in this diorama, right?

Very nice!   :wow:  You have a talent for creating scenes.

Fantasy film?  Where do you get it?

Fantasy film?  Where do you get it?

Fantasy film is a bit like cellophane but it has a colour changing effect.  I have used it for cardmaking in conjunction with rubber stamps - I ink a stamp (e.g. a butterfly) place it on a few layers of fantasy film, iron over it and the layers fuse together, I then take off the stamp and cut out the image left behind, it is very effective because it looks different colours in different lights, As it is a craft product it would be available from some craft shops or websites.  The only problem is that the film we have is only 10cm wide, whether it is available in larger pieces I'm not sure.
This is a link to a UK website showing fantasy film.  http://www.eacardsandcrafts.co.uk/FantasyFilm/FantasyFilm.htm (http://www.eacardsandcrafts.co.uk/FantasyFilm/FantasyFilm.htm)
Hope this helps,

Elaine
