That is so cool!

It looks exactly like my blue and red frameworks...

Except it is yellow.

Playmobil... always pushing the boundaries...

I was thinking of thinking of reacting something like you did, but i would never come up with such a sarcastic remark, cool ;D

Of course the framework houses are nice, but to come up the same house each year with only a different colour, that's just boring ???
I must admit i like this colour!

A white framework house would be much more useful really. As far as I know whitewashing was common, but yellow blue & red not so much.

Wait until you see the new pink and the new purple framework houses, Martin!
Definitely NOT boring ...

Hopefully, none of us will really ever see pink and purple houses ...  ;)
But, I'll bet that we do see a new "green" one.

Thanks a lot, Andi! :)

I hope I manage to get one soon ... I have to manage to get a blue one before, which has to be the first, but this yellow one is probably coming soon after! It's very pretty!

Hallo, Andi ...

No apologies are necessary my friend ...  ;D

I only asked the question because I was curious.

I am also curious why the yellow frame house (7369) is only listed on eBay by only one person.

There is no mention of this "DS product" anywhere else.

Is it a hoax ... Or, is it real?

Since Geobra has released a red house and a blue house it makes it almost too easy to believe that they are also going to release a yellow house (and maybe even a green house).

However, any future framework houses from DS will probably depend on how good the sales are for the blue house.

All the best,
Richard

The eBay seller says that the yellow house is only for export to the US and will not be sold in Germany ...

I'm curious to see how this plays out.

The house looks convincing, but I highly doubt a framework would be released by Geobra for sale to the US only.  We are surely not the largest market for the adult-collector items.

Hi Customizer,
I just said i saw the same pictures on ebay, because Gustavo mentioned he would like one.

And i thought it was strange too that the house was listed as only for US export??
If he or she painted the house themselves they picked a nice colour.

Maybe (probably) there's only one kind of yellow, and different effects of light ...

Look how these two same green houses (see attachment) look so different. And they aren't.

Happy to see that it's "real" and that it's already in the DS online catalog!

Also interesting to see that Playmobil no longer seems to be differentiating between Steck and SystemX in the DS listings.

Thanks, Andi and Gus ...

Hi,

ok here are the comparison !!

Left the new one a little more light yellow !!

But i think must be the same, after years the colors are darker (UV light) looks like some castle walls.

I can say 100% if i get my near future to compare.

Thx to Playmofreak for the pictures !!

Thanks, Andi ...

After seeing ALL the pictures are Klickywelt, I definitely like the new one a lot more than I like my old one!

(I never did like the idea of mixing framework with stone walls) ...  :P

Thanks again and all the best,
Richard

They really only mix if the stone walls are the ground floor and the framework the upper floor.

I totally agree, Gordon ...

Unfortunately, the original yellow framework house had a stone back wall and an open side wall. The new yellow framework house has three framework walls and an open back wall. Much better (IMO) ...  :klickywink:

Hello, Gus ...

Well, that is nice! Whose is it? :)

Two summers ago (2006) David Hamer (http://gardenwargaming.com/armies/dhamer/dhamer.html) visited us for a few weeks at our summer home in Canada.

This castle is the result of David's visit. David loves castles (http://gardenwargaming.com/armies/victorian/vonStunk.html). David had a great time in Canada. He finally got to build a castle with an almost unlimited number of Steck castle parts.

So, whose castle is it? I guess it was sort of David's and mine. It's now all apart and back in the boxes (http://www.silvano.com/Canada/tour/images/10.jpg).

All the best,
Richard

More just physics really, Richard, bearing in mind the load bearing qualities of stone vis-a-vis wood frame with infill and pictures I've seen such as this http://www.oldswinford.dudley.gov.uk/stokesay_castle_2.jpg and my own similar gatehouse which I made as part of Miss Cis's world tour in 2003.

Very nice GateHouse, Gordon! ...  :wow:

And, thanks for the "Stokesay Castle" link. Enjoyed seeing it!

And, physics aside ... it just doesn't look right to have wood on top of stone . (Must be the "intuitive" side of me that just subconsciously knows that you don't put stone on top of wood) ...  :klickywink:

I didn't think that David and I put an LGB train inside the castle. But, I wasn't absolutely certain, so I went back and looked at the photo again. As I was looking, I remembered that I had also attached a photo of the "boxes" that are tucked under the LGB/Playmobil train table ...  ;D

Yes, having a Playmobil train inside the house is great fun. And, I have been very fortunate to have a wonderful wife who has always agreed to my setting aside a very large area in our home for my toys ...

I'm sure that almost everyone has seen my first indoor train that I had when we lived in Houston. But, for those of you who may not have seen it (or want to see it again), click HERE (http://gardenwargaming.com/tour/tour.html).

All the best,
Richard
