Title: Can rooms be added to fairytale castle ?
Post by: Janice on February 28, 2008, 01:22:39
Now that my daughter has bought her Fairytale castle she has asked me if the rooms (Kitchen 4251, treasury 4255) can be added on to the Dream castle 3019?  I don't know the answer to this.  Has anyone tried to do this?  Will it work?

No problemo; you can. I haven't done it myself; but my sister has the whole range and has indeed succesfully added both rooms. Actually, there is a additional room available from the DS  ;).

Sounds like a useful project for                Creating our own assembly instructions (http://"http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=2042.0;topicseen)  ;) Anyone up for a bit of instructional photography?

Janice - In spite of being System X   ::), the fairy tale castle has been customized into some amazingly beautiful creations.  There was a huge opera house set-up a few years back that was truly inspiring.

Lots of other folks must remember Danielle's beautiful opera house - I tried to find some links to photos of it but no luck. :(  Did anyone happen to save those links/pix from about three or four years ago?  I am sure that Janice (and other folks, too!) would enjoy seeing them.  (I tried searching for the photolinks at another forum where I know they were posted in the past but the search engine over there doesn't work so well anymore - it seems to go back for only a few months instead of the many years of searches that used to be available.  :eh?: )

I remember Danielle's opera house, but I don't have photos either. :(

It was incredible. :yup:

There's some photos in this topic which give you an idea of how adaptable the System-X fairytale parts can be:

  Thanks, Tim, for posting this photo and for posting the link to Daniela's fantastic photo gallery at playmo-portal!   :inlove:

Thanks to Sylvia, too, for the link to Mi-Chi's beautiful castle.  I had not seen these pix before - they are wonderful, too!   :wow:

I loved looking at the Opera house, thanks.  I just have to ask......how many castles did it take to make that?  Do these people have some secret backer to enable them to build these things or are they just incredibly rich???  Am I being tactless in asking?  I just find it mind boggling....did you see all those chairs?  Wow!!

I saw her setup for the first time in Story of a Smile!
But there was only one photo.
These look great!

Does she take requests for performances?  Der Ring des Nibelung? *

* Wagner's Norse god cycle.  I want to see her take on the giants!
