i think you can get this cup at august in the funpark shop but i dont know.......
Excuse no cake this year to the toyfair !!
The pyramid was the perfect cake to make but..........find not the time.............
After 7 years toyfair cake 2008 i broke the tradition.. :'(
But the year was not over........ ;D

Even though it's ridiculous (especially at my age) to worry about what other people might think ... it's true ... :-[
Interestingly, I can set up my old Playmobil electric train (or my LGB electric train) and no one ever makes any disparaging comments. In fact, EVERYONE seems to enjoy the trains!
However, let me set up a Playmobil scene, without the trains, and almost everyone wants to know, WHY ... ???
I'll never forget a Christmas Party that we had (years ago) when my first Playmo-Room (http://gardenwargaming.com/tour/tour.html) was finished. That was back when I was a practicing psychologist. We invited over one hundred people, which included a large number of psychologists. I remember having to "encourage" them (out of the Playmo-Room) to enjoy the lovely evening by the fireplace (http://www.silvano.com/Texas/springhollow/images/09.JPG), so that our other guests could also play with the train ... :lol:
Now, if I had only had a display of Playmobil (without the train), I'm sure that there would have been a lot of murmuring about my "stability" ... :lol:
So, I understand what you're saying, Timmy! And, even though it's true ... it's too bad that some "adults" can't lighten up and just enjoy those little smiling faces with all of us ... ;)

If I do manage to get one, I'd probably be afraid to use it on a regular basis in case I dropped it or chipped it when washing up. :-[

A collector on the smurf forum I attended long ago mentioned his collection of pewter Napoleonic figures drew fawning comments, while his smurf collection earned dead silence from house guests.
Either this means the typical house guest is a scholar at heart and appreciates the application / modeling of history through pewter and electric trains...
Or else because nearly a century of those toys--formerly a passtime for rich gentry--lends those hobbies an aura of respectability! I suppose in 2108, a PM collection will be ultra-fab! "I picked up this set in Dubai. A gift of the crown prince. He's into ACW. The one from 2009-2014."
An old army buddy of mine once saw my smurf collection--it was like opening the door to that room Bluebeard had forbidden. He was visibly shaking and dead silent. Things returned to normal after we closed the door and made no further references to it.
I could speculate about what was going through his mind, but now that I know Richard was a former Pyschologist I'll leave it to the professionals!
BTW, er, uh, RE: Molly: I swear, I once heard somebody say that on a British sitcom. "A bit molly!" Like we'd say maybe "metrosexual" but without the taste for fashion or success with women (even on a friend-only basis) that the metrosexual appears to command.

I noticed, when I went look at the new Egyptian cup, that on the German Playmobil site that they have an entire Birthday Party section which we don't seem to have on the US Playmobil site. Do you have one on the UK Playmobil site?

Not a lot of chance of that happening. ;)
I don't hold dinner parties. Cooking for 8 people every night of the week is enough of a chore for me. It's almost like holding a dinner party every single day! The only difference is I don't get embarrassed if a dish gets a bit burnt or is slightly undercooked. :P
Plus, while a matching set of Egyptian mugs definitely appeals, I don't think I could afford to buy more than one at the moment.
