Well, this year we will have few city sets, police, firestation, hospital, house, ...
but what about stores?
Do you think PM will release new stores?
-
I think it will depend on how popular that theme really was. There aren't that many different things they can do with the shops. They have already done the ice cream parlor and have done grocery, butcher, bakery, and garden stores. A chocolate or candy store would be good. A pet shop is still a possibility, but the veterinary series pretty well fills that same niche. A toy store is certainly a possibility, it's been done quite nicely as a custom by people. Hats and jewelry were done as street vendors for the Victorian theme but could make a comeback. Clothing in general doesn't really work.
What I would love to see is a further expansion of the Roman theme with some shops for that - pottery, food, togas and jewelry.

Hello, again, Tim ...
Believe it or not ... Bart says that all of these Roman buildings (and shops) can be made from available SystemX parts!
What do you think about Playmobil making Roman shops and stores, JM ... ???
-
When romans were released, I hoped this kind of building were released.
As you know, in Spain, we love nativity set, and romans is the best addon for the nativity set.
I hope PM will release this building at least in DS.....

The discussion on having a Playmobil CAD has been split from this topic to make it more visible to everyone. ;)

Hmm... Richard... arent these snapshots from the roman game from playmobils webpage?
is bart doing animations for geobra?
I am not sure that these parts are all existing.. for example, I tried to work with the columns and they are just too short to go with the ordinary sysX-walls...
...aaaand... most of the parts are existing in wrong colors... ;)
best,

Yes ... And, yes!

I am just repeating what Bart told me. However, Bart did say that some of the pieces would need to be painted, unless Playmobil produced them in the correct colours ... :)
Thanks for your questions, Socrates. I hope the answers are helpful.
All the best,
Richard
