I don't envy you setting up all the products on shelves. One reason I never went for the supermarket sets, my fine motor skills are not up to stocking!

Was this an unannounced invasion, or did you have advance warning, Raven?

I can't really get excited about the 3200 Supermarket as a toy, but my 13 year old daughter has just 'discovered' it and  loves it (cheaper than letting her loose on a real supermarket I suppose). Your version is much better stocked than that 3200 one, Raven, much better shelving and layout- brilliant!

We did have a previous conversation something like this:

Mr Raven:  What are you building?
Me:  A supermarket.
Him:  Oh! The Gang will want to go to the supermarket!
Me:  No!  They are NOT invading my supermarket. This is a sensible supermarket.  They can keep well away until I have finished it.

And a few days later:

Mr Raven:  Is it all finished now?
Me:  Yes.
Him:  <evil chuckle>

So... I was kind of expecting it.  And I think, actually, that their presence improved the look of the place.

One of our cats seemed to think that I was making a supermarket-maze for him to walk through.  I'm not actually very good at anything that requires precision, so it took me days to put the things on shelves.  And to put the things back on shelves, because the cat had knocked them off again.  He is a go-outdoors cat, but not much in winter.  In winter, apparently, he is a lay-in-a-supermarket type of cat.  Even if only his head will fit in.
