Title: 6843 Princess and maid
Post by: Marco_4124 on April 11, 2016, 08:42:14
Well, this might be very well the first time I customize a klicky  ;)
Included in set 6843 there is a maid that looks much like Zora (Book: Die rote Zora und ihre Bande — Kurt Held, Sauerländer Verlag).

Little problem, Zora has red hair, and the girl in set 6843 is blonde. As far as I know, this maid isn't unique, and once part of the medieval village of Playmobil. If she ever appeared with red hair, than it must be possible to switch her hairstyle, or else I have to spray it red.

Anyone have some advice for me?

Was spricht dagegen, der Dame einfach eine rote Frisur zu verpassen? Why not just swap her hair for a red wig?

jj:

P.S. Wußte gar nicht, daß das Buch erst vor ein paar Jahren neu verfilmt wurde. Hatte mich schon gewundert, wer hier den alten Schinken noch kennt  ::). I was quite surprised to see, the book was made to film anew only a couple of years ago. Wouldn't have expected anyone here to know the old original...

Yes... I don't understand the problem..

(she appeared before? I don't remember)

If I understand you well, a red wig does exist. Then, the customizing should be quite simple.

P.s.: this is the Zora I know:

Yes, you can gently pull off hairpieces and switch them - definitely an easy way to start customizing. ;)

That said, there is definitely red hair in that style available. The easiest way for you to get one is to just buy a figure that already has that hair and switch it with the hair on this figure. There is a recent figure in the Fi?ures Series 9 that has that hair.

OK, I'm already keep a keen eye on eBay and on Marktplaats (Dutch version of eBay).

Succeeded. On eBay UK I found a brown, blond and red wig. I replaced the blonde wig for the red wig, and this is the result (and now I have to do Branko, Nicola, Duro, Pavle and Gorian ;))

She looks lovely  :)

I'm wondering if there's a way to use Heather's Playmodatabase to look up all existing red/orange wigs for adult female clickies. I've tried, but I couldn't specify my results they way I wanted.

Yes, on the Who's That Klicky page http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/whoami.pl (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/whoami.pl)
Choose the hair colour box and use orange, dark orange, light orange, red, bright red, etc. You can tell what the color is when you see the klickies that come up and you are familiar with one or more of them.
