Title: Italian exclusive Carabinieri

My wife and I went on vacation in Italy last year. Of course all I wanted was to pick up this Italian exclusive. This is the Italian version of SWAT police. I finally found it in the third toy store we checked. It was perfect souvenir to fit in my bag, and remind me of my trip. I took it over to our friends house who had the fog machine and finally got the pic I had been planning for a year.

I did have a lot of fun taking my Playmobil centurion all over Italian landmarks (https://www.flickr.com/photos/mrstinkhead/albums/72157645368232306)

That's a beautiful photograph.

That light on the back and the reflection in the fog is incredible.

Very beautiful photo ! But Carabinieri aren't the Italian SWAT. They are one of the main national polices of Italy. They also have a SWAT team called G.I.S. (Gruppo di Intervento Speciale = Special Task Group) but Carabinieri are a police force which is in cities, on the roads , in the sea ecc...ecc...

Yeah there's no Anglo equivalent of the carabinieri/gendarmes of the Romance nations.
