... Yes because when I think of Knights I think about their deodorant, made mostly of stuff that wasnt available to them in the medieval world. ::)
-
Is this for kids?
-
:eh?: I think they've made it for collectors. This is gonna be the PCC annual gift... :loco:
woman: hey hotshot, your scent is delicious..mmm.. which brand?
man: the new fragrance from Playmobil.... hey! where are you going?

Unfortunately, it's not just geobra. It's completely beyond me.

 my thoughts exactly!
This is so... weird.

A more appropriate scent for a knight would be sweat and pig fat with a hint of rust. I see why they didn't go that route but even so, odd choice of merchandise. Soap would have made more sense.

Well, at least Playmobil continues being educational. The perfumes caused me to google the ingredient 'Tonka Bean'...
-
I didn't bother checking why Gene was said to seek a rationnal explanation for everything. Rationnal is not a word.

Now I am just waiting for some typical male perfume commercial where you see a thirty something handsome looking guy with a strong jaw get ready for a date, and put on his playmobil scent. And in the commercial, his date finding it highly attractive for some reason.
-
I like this idea :)
And of course it is meant for kids. ::)
-
But why would kids ask for perfume when they can have the toy instead ???

Everyone seems to love the devil, these days. I don't.

May be useful for those silly people who insist of giving kids stuff other than toys? Perfumes. Jewelry. CLOTHES.
::)
-
Seems like girls would appreciate this more than boys but both examples are male characters.

::)
Exactly.
Besides, it's good that they expand the brand to other products other than the toy itself.

:o 8} Ok that's just plain weird can't see the market for that myself unless it's aimed at the oh so difficult to conquer teenage market or the new scent for you and your klicky ;)

True it's a very good point clearly going for the romantic vein not the realistic one :hmm:
Exactly.

I'm all for expanding the brand but, perfume? seriously ??? I'd really like to know what goes through the heads of the people in the ideas department part of designing products is that they have to appeal to the target market and make financial sense this to me fulfills neither of those.
Look at LEGO love it or hate it they sure know how to expand the product beyond the humble bricks and minifigures the LEGO brick/figure is a globally recognised icon I'm not trying to say Playmobil should try and copy LEGO but, there are loads more products which you could start with to expand the brand which make a lot more sense just off the top of my head using suggestion above klicky shaped soap or even a full bath set, still maybe not a best seller but, at least it makes more sense and would probably appeal more to kids and collectors alike.

Bubblebath or soap yes, but perfume for a boy? No way. Is it being aimed at the collector market or are they actually going to branch out into toiletries?
Better ideas would be clothing that looked similar to some of their characters such as having t-shirts with the same print as a klicky torso. Child size plastic gardening tools. Iron-on transfers, stickers, a stamp with classic face on it, temporary tattoos. Novelty hats that look like helmets and hats from the playmobil range.

Yeah tshirts were one of the first things that sprung to my mind along with other items which could be shaped to look like a Klicky or Klicky head, some good ideas there. Tools is a good idea could do a storage box with space for tools and klickies and perhaps a play mat as well could work as well could be expanded to other themes like construction.
Was thinking necklaces and such like with a klicky think I've seen something like that before but, I think a metal klicky would look cool on a necklace certainly appeal to a lot of adults and perhaps some kids as well and also books showing the history of klickies or of different themes featuring a 2 or 3 klickies from different eras/themes could work well.

It is a cultural thing I see. Kids (YES, BOYS TOO!) in my country use cologne or perfum. What's wrong with that?
There are perfum and colognes from Kitty, Monster High, Barbie (to name a few) and EVERY freaking Disney movie even CARS, for boys!!!!!!!!!
I can't understand all the fuss!....
-
Does Lego have perfume? A search only gives actuall Lego bricks.
I still do not understand if this is meant for kids even though some countries might put jewelry and perfume on little children?
What does it smell like? Plastic for that signature geobra scent

Around here it is viewed as though the child did not choose to wear it and it's for the status of the parents, child pagent type of thing. Same goes for young girls to be in full make up.
Disney will market just about anything now that Walt is gone. They are shameless, and soulless

This is quite wild.
