I just got a batch of Vikings delivered and went to PlaymoDB to check how complete the sets are.
To my surprise, it seems that many vikings have names! Knud, Harald, Olof, Leif, Valdium, and "Nessie's pet viking" in case of the one with nessie.
Half of them seem nameless and are called Viking youth, heavy viking, viking king, viking frontman and such.
Is this common though? I never really paid much attention to this. And who named them? is this an injoke of Geobra?

I named them after characters in "The Viking Five", a terrific fan video, years ago. (Except for Nessie's pet Viking, that's just me being silly. There is also a Dragon's pet knight.) I haven't watched this in way too long, glad to be reminded of it!

I never knew that!
Thanks for the link to the video Heather, it's a long time since I last saw that.

Heh thanks for the explanation, you have a great sense of humor. :) I'll make sure to keep an eye out on other names too when going through the database.

I like those names too! I wish we could give a few more klickies real names instead of 30 00 6050 (or whatever)
How about these?
30 00 9152 Cameron
30 00 9182 Milliband
30 00 9212 Clegg
30 00 9242 Farage
30 11 2330 Bennet
(these are the leaders of some of the main political parties in England, where we are getting a bit fed up of the forthcoming General Election!)
