Title: Honey, I bought a farm
Post by: Birdie on February 25, 2015, 18:05:57
Actually I bought three farms, the 6410 western farm house, to make a larger building.

The best re-release to date, in my humble opinion

I also ordered some of the package animals: the alligator (with three instead of two babies, lovely surprise), the lamas (adorable) and more flamingos (because of the pretty new colours).

The new gift by PM is a vet with dogs in various colours. They might look nice in a toy shop.

Your 2-story building looks great, Birdie!  It would be perfect in a western town scene - very authentic.  :)

Looks great, Birdie!  Building and customizing with PM is such fun.  Love the alligator guarding the chicken coop.  :o

I agree with all of it

Great custom building
Best to date re release
Cute rainbow animals for a toy shop
And all the rest

I just think the neighbors who's porch railing was swiped might get a little upset, hatfields and mccoys perhaps

Those look real nice :)

The llamas were out of stock, and I TRIED to show SOME restraint, but I did get the flamingos too.. And the okapis.

Nice buildings looks good with 2 storeys. Like the animals as well interesting the colour differences in the Flamingos and very striking patterns on the Gaitors as well. The rainbow pups look good, I did think at least with the free BBQ guy I bought the other week it doesn't really make much difference to realism if he's got brightly coloured lanterns.

Joe

Didn't notice that  the Farmer might want to check on any chickens in there as well though otherwise they might be supper  :o ;)

Me too: only three packages  8-)

It is! But as DrDalek mentioned, I'm afraid the chickens have already met their match...

I just think the neighbors who's porch railing was swiped might get a little upset, hatfields and mccoys perhaps

I had to look that one up
You're right, and I am even one porch railing short so the balcony is a bit of a death trap at the moment.

I have more of those railings, but they're older (and yellowed). I'll have to order some from DS to avoid bloodshed.

I need to broadcast my enthusiasm for the DS spare parts ordering system that is now available in Belgium too.
How AWESOME is it that I can just order those white fence pieces for € 0.40 and get free delivery on top  :o  :o  :o
(if I order enough, but that never seems to be a problem for me...)

I've been waiting for ages to preplace those old yellowed parts! My western train station will look like new again!

Well if I can help people out by ordering extra pieces for them, let me know

I was also very happy to discover it is so easy from now on. Such good news!
