Are these pieces used for connecting brass rails to plastic Playmobil rails.

I don't THINK so.. But not an expert :-[
-
No, they are just extenders for filling gaps between the full size lengths of track.

And with tracks you mean: the current full plastic tracks.

I think you mean this: 7562 Adapter set
Image "adopted" from google from.. somewhere:

The parts you showed are exactly what Gordon said, gap fillers. They are also usefull for when a track changes slight elevations. If you put enough of these together they can be bent up or down. I have made a train yard "hump" out of them quite successfully.

Thanks for all your help. Set 7562 is what I am looking for.
It is for extending a siding, without the needs of expensive brass rails (the locomotive is always pushing the wagons into a dead end siding, or else it will be sucked between the wagons and the end of the siding).

There is a simpler version if you are just wanting for a track powered loco to push wagons onto the plastic track or pull them off. I'll have a look in my bits box for one.
-
I'll take some photos and post them this weekend.

Here are the photos of the brass-to-RC rail connector , Marco. Click on them to make them bigger.
First, a photo showing the side of the connector which fits to the brass rail and then one of the RC rail side of the connector.
Next, the connector and the two types of rail ready to be joined together. As you can see, the fishplate on the brass rail has to be removed.
A photo of the brass rail with the connector fitted. The rail needs to be flush with the connector; pushing the two together does this, or you can pull the brass rail back until it is flush. The latter may be the easier way.
-
Finally, to finish things off, the two types of rail connected.
I can let you have one of these connectors, or I have some spare brass track which needs a clean which we might be able to do a deal on.
