Title: Exclusive figures at Quick restaurants in France
Post by: Redmao on February 01, 2014, 12:24:21

From February to March, Quick restaurants will offer 10 special Playmobil figures in their kids meal.
Pirates for boys and princesses for girls.
Kids can also fill out a coupon for a chance to win either a pirate ship or a castle for the princesses.

I'm very curious to see these new figures.

That's awesome! I wish they would do that here someplace. Of course then I'd be tempted to eat there. :P But it would be a good way to expose kids to playmobil.

Would be great if other chains around the world got involved in this,

Most of the figures look like they are re-releases, but the end pirate, I cannot say I have seen that torso before, and ther first girl, looks like an interesting combination, and again not sure if this is new torso.

I attach the picture on the website for reference.

Thanks for the news Redmao

thanks for the picture townklicky, they do look like recycled parts but still a great idea

In the US Geobra did a promo many blue moons ago and it also was  included in a kids meal. Playmobil is only suited for certain aged kids so its hard to find the right kind of situation to make it work now a days. Perhaps they could give a 123 figure but that would be lame for collectors.

Recycled figures (or figures with a mix of recycled limbs from other figures), but nice for the kids.
We have Quick fastfood restaurants in Belgium too, I wonder if they'll take part in this action.

but the end pirate, I cannot say I have seen that torso before

He was a kind of knight-special in a previous life.

Nice. They are recycled parts (I wouldn't expect new parts for this sort of thing), but I don't have most of them.

Rasputin,
That was our family's first introduction to Playmobil.  We normally never went to MacDonalds to eat, but when they released the Playmobil in the Happy Meals I made the exception.  This is the first knight my son had, and you can see how worn it is from being played with.

It's from the "wolf knight" special 4644 from a few years back.
