thank you andi, great picks.
the hairless head and the naked arms seem to be a first - am i right?
the new ship looks nicer than i thought.
the conquistadores were absorved by the pirate theme - it now looks to be official.
this means a lot of money to spend in lighthouse.
... what the hell - it looks to be a great set.
thanks again andi.

Well... thanks to the very last photo, I now know what the bottom half of the new female pirate looks like!! ;D
Thanks for sharing these with us, Andi! :*)
It's very exciting to see so many completely new figures being added to this theme! 8-)
I really like the new shaggy hair for the pirates, but I have to say the bald-headed klicky is kinda freaky. :o
(Looks like hoppatussa guessed right on that one. I thought he was going to have blonde hair under the bandanna. :P)

I agree with you on those Sylvia. It is also interesting to see all the new prints on their faces. The one pirate appears to have bags under his eyes, and what is that painted on the bald pirate's face?

Great pictures Andi. :)
I like the ship, it's a good size and the sail arrangement is brilliant. I like the idea of firing the grappling hook from the cannon, that's cool. 8-)

Ditto. That is one thing I DO like.

Thanks for the pics, andi; it's very good of you.
The ship is increasingly interesting and I noticed the grappling iron in the cannon, something which was actually done on occasions to force a ship to come to battle which didn't want to. The grappling irons would ideally be fired over the ship so they hooked on the side further from her attacker so that the harder she tried to escape the more caught she was.

Hello Customizer,
Thanks for the great pictures..
I am warming up to the pirate ship, didn't like it at first.
The grappling hook is a good idea. I am not real
crazy about the cannonball "dart" thing. The two sails on one
mast is cool, but it seems to lack rigging detail. Easier on the kids though.
The tattoo on the bald guy looks like a Queequeg kinda thing like in"Moby Dick",
I think.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the pix Andi! I am eagerly looking forward to these sets being available in the US. While I do like the new ship, my real reason is that I want to get multiples of all the new pirates for customizing - all my pirates are starting to look similar an I want to inject some new blood into my crews!
