Title: Medieval jousting tournament
Post by: Birdie on August 28, 2013, 13:02:13
Hello Playmofriends!

My medieval clickies were in the mood for some violent entertainment, so here are some pictures of the jousting tournament that is about to begin.
I had to remove the farm to free up space, but now there's just enough room for a little church building, which was missing in the town before.

Hope you like it  :knight:

These two have found themselves a front row seat

The knights who are competing also attract lots of female attention

Love it Birdie.  It would have killed me to take down the farm.  I have separation issues.
Your attention to detail is remarkable!  :)9

That's great!

Love the kids under the... bleachers? seats? You know what I mean...

And the two women are PERFECT. The posing is amazing - they really look to be sharing something about the men ;)

Thank you so much everyone  :)

I can help my self to dont jelus every time i se the cage down of the blancet....fantastic idea!!!!I would like to ask you to use it also in the future.....

Oh, of course, and I'm sure other people have used it in similar ways in diorama's.
It's the cave from the first large pirate island 3799, maybe you have it. Pirates have never been my theme, but the parts in that set are really useful.

But the biggest part of my self,(the part who rools, want to see the fight between the 2 knights....I hope you to do something about it...

Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm clearing everything away now  :)  I'm not patient enough to shoot stories.

Amazing! I really enjoyed watching your photos. The diorama is full of details and we can see that you built it with a lot inspiration  :)

Agreed this diorama is very much alive.  From the way they are posed, everyone seems to have a thought and agenda of their own.   The lighting also helps a lot in setting the mood like the hush before battle commences.

It must take immense patience to stand all the figures on that lovely ground cover.  Each time I attempt something like this with realistic model train grounds all the Klickies suddenly get fall-down drunk that no one can stand for long, and then the cat finishes up the remaining survivors with a lazy swish of his tail  ;D

I'm pretty impatient normally, but putting everything just right is what makes it fun for me, so I don't really mind. I don't have pets either, that helps  :)  When I was little, our cat at home used to be very careful around my Playmobil, placing its paws exactly right, avoiding clickies. It was a funny sight.
