Title: What song does the organ grinder play?

I have two of these blue organs. One button doesn't play, and I haven't been able to get it open. The other is red, which I'm assuming is a replacement. If the original song has a name, maybe I could find a music button that would work.

So what song does the organ grinder play?

Good question. It's a looong shot but maybe you can use the music app on a smart phone to see if it can recognize it.

I've never even heard the original song, so I have nothing to go on. I have one original, but dead, button and one replacement button, which may very well be playing something entirely different.

at least it isn't stuck in my head anymore... it has been bugging me because I know I've heard it elsewhere and at one point I think I had a music book with it in there... but haven't been able to find it... or else I would have the name for you.

Huh, so apparently the red button plays the same song. Not sure why it's red... unless the Christmas organ plays the same song, but that seems odd.

Thank you, the video helped a lot! I'm not sure about the song title. I'll have to see if I can find someone with more song knowledge than me.

Glad I now know it is the Cuckoo waltz though, because once I'd listened to the clip on Youtube (and followed along with the Na NAHs), it was one of those 'argh! I know this! I know this!' type tunes, without actually knowing the name :)

Now I know - in the 1970's there was a UK TV sitcom called The Cuckoo Waltz.
Can you guess what  the theme tune was?  :lol:
