Post by: cheng on October 01, 2012, 01:56:14
not Hans (Solo) nor (Attila the) Hun

The helmet looks convincing nevertheless a bit silly.  :)

we are accustomed to seeing that helmet the other way around but my eyes see them fine ;) I hope to find a few photos to show you that's how medieval chinese helmets look ;)

So, on the other side of Earth, they wore their helmets backwards? It does make sense, actually!  ;D
Excellent work once again, my friend!

if there were Australian medieval soldiers, they would have worn them upside down instead  ;D and thank you too, Michael ;)

thanks again Playmofriends!

and hey Michael and Arnaud,
their open helmets will look more correct if I add our PM neckguards (but will have to cut them into a 3-piece neck guard and heat bend them so that they hang straight down rather than flare outwards...since I have quite many PM neck guards, I guess I wont flinch when doing this extreme neck-guard custom,
this is what I had in mind, but with longer red tassels ;)
(second picture shows the tassels hopefully Geobra will make someday ;) )
