Hi all!
The green colour-and most of the outfit-of the new dwarf Fi?ure looks almost exactly like the "Green dragon knights" one (in my book these guys are still elves), AND I got more and more convinced that a mining, rocky hills dwelling nation like the dwarves would be wearing more earthy, dark coloured clothing, so I changed my dwarves' outfits from mostly bright green to black.
So here they are, back in black-I hope you like them! :)

My oh my, those are...wondeful!
You're right, the Dwarf Fi?ure is in the wrong colors. At least the legs themselves and boots are a reasonable color for reuse as you have done.
I love your dwarf army, I really must assemble one myself now that it's been made easier. I hope that now they've made a mold for Dwarf legs they'll use it again for a Dwarf Special, and not give him ridiculous bright blue or orange boots.

Those look great! The black works nicely and I agree it is more appropriate for them
-
these look awesome!!! :wow:
-
WOW !!!!
-
They do look quite realistic nice work :)
-
I agree - yours look great! The original, besides being.. well.. NOT original, does have that problem.. is not very "right" for most people's view of a dwarf! :)
-
Nice arrangements of dwarfs... hopefully Playmobil isn't planning on only using those legs once or in just one color
-
Erik, you must have been reading my mind! Black was my first thought when you showed your green dwarves. Green fits for rangers and forest dwelling creatures such as elves, but how could a dwarf be a ranger with such a short stride!
I especially like the one with the romans swords on his back. Those old studded torsos work perfectly on your dwarves. Nice job!
Can't wait to have mine!!!

Wow, great customs!! Nice job! :)
-
Your warriors are amazing. Great customs, well done.
George.

Nice! After seeing how all of your dwarves have beards, I wonder what you'd make a female dwarf like.
-
That's why people think there are no dwarf women....
-
Well, that's only because Erik made his dwarves in accordance with the mining and cave typecast, and probably all of the dwarves I've seen from that group are bearded. I don't think dwarf women are ever really mentioned, but these are all warriors, so that makes sense here.
One could be made using these dwarf legs with a female torso I think though.
-
They look great! 8-)
Btw, I think the torso from the dwarfwarrior in the middle (with the viking-helmet) is the same as from the dwarfs on the right and left... From which figure & set does this torso originate?

From the 4937 "Easter egg Knight", I also used his "fire-ax" to give King Balin a mythical weapon.

Quote of Gimli, from the movie! Cool!
Customs are awesome!

I simply REFUSE to make dwarf women until Geobra makes "short-legged" skirts!!! ;D ;)
-
Those outfits are better indeed, Erik! Well done! And why can't dwarf women have a beard? I'll introduce you to my mother-in-law and you will see everything is possible ;)

That would probably look a lot better!
-
what an evil looking band of midgets, great customs and I too think they look way better than Geobra's
-
Thank you, the green was a bit to "cheerful" for my taste... :)

Great customs dwarfs!!!
