We will start out with some Batman customs as my 3 year old wanted them, with Kudos to any ideas that I may have picked up along the way... some that stand out are Arnaud's customs and Bonnie's work with nail polish... if I missed any other inspiration I apologize in advance ;)

Close ups
Batman, Robin, Joker, and Harley
-
Two Face, Penguin, Poison Ivy (work in progress), and Catwoman (also not quite done yet)
-
Oooh these look great
My favourites are Harley Quinn and Robin, they look as though they just came out of a box.

Harley Quinn is awesome. For Two Face and Penguin, I think they're the best one can do with 100% playmo parts. I have them both in progress with resin heads, I already posted the Penguin I guess.
Thanks for sharing!

Those are fantastic! Love the green Elvis hair for the Joker. Have you considered using the new dwarf legs for the Penguin?
-
Great customs, I like them all. Excellent work, well done.
George.

Very cool customs!!! They are great represantations of how the characters were drawn for the 90s animated series!!!
-
I had considered using the dwarf legs but only have one pair... the 90's series is the primary inspiration for the characters as well as making them "Playmobilesque" rather than some of the more realistic versions out there... hence batman's rather friendly looking cowl
Note: Batman's cowl is the only non-playmobil part... I used Instamorph to form the cowl directly on the head.
-
I don't know most of these characters, but they look extremely well done, Baron Marshall! They really do not even look like customs, which is perhaps one of the signs of the best customs.
-
Cool I've always liked Robin perhaps a child figure would also work as Robin given the appropriate clothes since he was meant to be a boy/teenage sidekick originally? depends what take you want to do, really like 2 Face and Penguin they both look really professional :)
-
I really like Robin! But they all look great.
-
Great looking customs! 8-)

Apart from Batman and Robin (who I think are excellent) I don't really know them either :-[ but I can appreciate the work you have done on the other characters too.
Very well done  :wow:

Great work ! I like the Joker and Two Face

I LOVE the "Harley Quinn" figure-I always had a bit of a crush on her, lol!!! ;D :-[
-
Love them!!! No idea who Harley Quinn is though :hmm:
Robin looks great, I've never seen one before (always batman) but ... :-[ shouldn't Robin have a yellow cape? :-[
-
wow! I missed these. They are excellent Baron Marshall. :)9

Technically he should have a black cape with a yellow lining... but it looked odd to have a yellow cape on him and I haven't gotten around to painting the back of one black... or painting robins green gloves on him either

OK here is another custom, not batman related as I hope to use this thread for all of my customs instead of making new ones all the time
I am aware of a few previous Minotaur customs, but Playmobil really needs to get crackin as all the parts should be easy for them to get/alter. This gorilla-enhanced Minotaur took about 15 minutes of concentrated thought and about the same amount of time in labor to build. It is merely a Longhorn cow head (horns were already busted a tad) and a Gorilla body... with a bit of Instamorph for leg extension, neck build-up, and tail. Enjoy.
More custom work to come, though maybe not today... ;)

That looks great! Love the combo you've used
-
Nice! How did you get the swordbelt to fit so well on the female torso though? Is it seated well, or does it move around still?

 Do you take comissions?

It moves around still, but not more than a saucy maiden's belt should ;)

With a 3 year old and a 3 month old I am lucky to get my anything done, also literally have about 1000 cubic feet (28 cubic meters) of loose Playmobil I still need to sort from the move, (I don't make very much progress as I keep stopping to make new things) and wouldn't want anyone waiting AGES for anything. ;)
