Hi all!
Since we all have access to a multitude of "bearskin-hats" now (thanks to the series three Fi?ure!), I wanted to make some "British Grenadiers" sporting said headwear.
I hope you like them! :)
Friendly greetings,
Erik

Nice customs - they look very smart although, strictly speaking the British Grenadiers have never had busby hats and white trousers. The original 18th century Grenadiers had white trousers but not busby hats.

Great customs, well done.
George.

These aren't "Beefeaters" (Yeoman of the Guard), they are serving soldiers who also undertake ceremonial duties.

Good stuff! ;D

Very nice but personally I prefer tricorne-hats ;D

I understand, it took me a long time to use the "bearskins" too, but I felt like adding some "variety" today, lol-WITH some "artistic freedom"! ;)

Personly more a fan of the tricone too, and the entire earlier era. I just dont like the look of uniforms around the napoleonic era. All those silly tall hats that just dont seem very practical, and I like the looser coats of earlier times too.
So I am very glad with the recently released redcoats, thats more my kind of style than the earlier redcoats. Exept for the painted on straps, but the DS version doesnt have that. :)
