Interesting. The Western figure will give some continuing hope for fans of that theme. The puppet show is very different, and the magician is also unexpected.

Did you notice that there are only ten specials for 2007 ... ???
Also, when i compare these Playmobil Specials to the Specials that Ralf (http://www.ralfgemein.de/) created over at GW-PC (http://gardenwargaming.playclicks.com/forum/index.php?topic=261.0), the Playmobil Specials are a bit disappointing.
Perhaps Zirndorf should hire Ralf to design their 2008 Specials ... :yup:

No i think there are two specials for February missing (the ones with the star)
If you count the ones without stars there are six for august :)
Ralf's specials are very good too bad palymobil doesn't make them, but the parts are all old, so we can make them ourselves.
Don't like the kids specials, but i like the puppet show :yup:

I really like the puppet show and also the mother with baby! :love:
Is that the first time we've seen the baby-carrier or is it already in another set? I love it, in any case!
I think it's great that they keep making new stuff which reflects real life in the modern world, even if we would all like to see a few more historically inspired sets in the Specials range. ;)
We did get a whole new theme this year, so I suppose we really shouldn't complain. :P

I think that scan was to show the newest 6 and some of the older 6 happened to be in the scan. No worries.. there are 12 specials next year.
I like the mom and baby special. Very cute.

I love the pirate, of course, but the puppet show is the most original special I have seen in a while. A must have, IMO.

The puppetshow seems to be a real hit, though not really for me ;D, but I like the others quite alot.Especially the roman and the pirate. I can´t judge the knight and the cowboy yet, must see themin real life I think.

Thanks for the suggestion, Rob ... :)
However, I am very fortunate because I have all the old parts and can make moulds to cast extra parts as well as new parts.
Some of the newer collectors are not as fortunate. So, it would be wonderful if Playmobil would someday bring back all the old parts for the new collectors and customizers.

browsing randomly, i can't really remember how i got there.
it's in german and i don't understand a word of it (except for playmobil and 2007).
does anyone find it usefull?

From reading that list, I understand it's all about the already known new sets for early 2007 (new Pony-farm, new supersets, new fairies for Eastern, new specials) but there's also (last 3 items):
*a truck with a kind of hangar (garage)
* a cabrio (= car without roof, "convertible" in English?)
* "eine Schiebebahn": not sure what this is; it could be an icetrack (but this is normally translated as "Eisbahn" or "Schlitterschuhbahn" in German) but literally it means "schove- or push-track"... ???

Schiebebahn means a push-train - they have them in the 1-2-3 line (no motor)
