Title: How can we see DS Store spare parts????
Post by: retronio22 on August 15, 2012, 11:48:03
I'm just wondering if there is any way to see the spare parts and prices on DS Store. And I mean the wigs, hats, figures, etc! Is it required subscription and is it needed payment?I live in Greece and I don't know if there is any way to order from DS Store, but I would like to see prices on UK or German (the closest to me).

You have to just find the part numbers you want on playmodb, then submit an order by email. They send back an invoice showing availability and prices. Then you call them and pay for it, and at that time you can also make changes, if theres items you find too expensive.

You'll need a friend in the UK or germany to help you, though, because they won't send it to another country.

An alternative to playmoDB is the official Playmobil site which also now has building instructions on.  However, playmoDB is better for older sets.

And playmodb is generally easier to use, I think, simce it cross-references parts with identical or similar descriptions, and lets you search by category rather than just set number.

They even know and use playmodb at Playmobil! At least here in France, that's what the woman there told me when I called.
@retronio: you should ask our other Greek members how they do it, I think they get deliveries to Greece.
