Title: Modern city street
Post by: Birdie on August 05, 2012, 15:55:43
This is my first set-up since we moved house 6 months ago :)

I've added the school, a few holiday homes and a farm house since my last diorama.

Unfortunately there was no more room for the zoo, but there is a western village in the back-ground (which is not a part of the city, but I share floor-space with another playmo collector )

Great job Birdie, I love how you mixed the Victorian, Western and city life sets together! It looks awesome!

Thanks everyone!!

I'm still a little bummed out about all the holes in the system-X buildings. The inside of the school looks like it's been bombed with a machine gun.

@ Dimitris: But my police woman might have to come take a look at the illegal gambling going on above the saloon  :hmm:

Thank you very much for your kind words  :D

I just had to pack it all up again and now our little attick room is completely full. No more space whatsoever  :help:

@ retronio22: I'm very happy to post pictures of the interiors (I love furnishing the little houses!)

I couldn't really decide which ones, so here's a bunch of them:

The bakery:

I adore this bath tub:

Personally; I believe there can never be too many furniture sets. I have bought them all, and I still need some more variation  ;D

Here are Dimitris' cowboys, caught red-handed:

Wow, this looks fantastic and huge - it must take up the whole room.

Is the train track a loop, so the train can run all the time, or just part of the landscape?

It's not a loop, because I couldn't fit any more tracks in the room. And I also need a railway crossing (the clickies are pretty much closed in at the moment).

:o wow... didn't know your collection was that big! Wonderful diorama and great use of different parts. And all that furniture...is there a Playmobil Ikea in your neighbourhood?  ;)

Thanks for sharing

Wonderful interiors, you've done a great job there. Some really clever parts use. I like how you've used the signs to make the ends of that bunk bed, and the mixing of furniture from the various themes. Tons of perfectly placed details, and your bakery looks great too. Thanks for posting the extra pics.
