Title: Playmobil Pals 4513.... true or mith?
Post by: tonguello on May 31, 2012, 17:40:51
This is a search than a Spanish friend had started and is asking for our help.  :)

According to the Collector 3 in page 522 there is the Playmobil Pals version of the Special hockey player 4513.
Does anybody have seen it in real life? Does anyone have physical prove of it existence? I mean the box of course or a pic.
He hasn't found any evidence or anyone who has it in at any other Playmobil forum or from other collectors / sellers etc.
So it could be that the Collector 3 is wrong? or..... what?
Of course the only difference is the box BTW.

Might it be that some Playmofriend solves this mystery?

Did the "Pals" version of the special go beyond target stores and US exclusives?

I bought some "pals" here in B.A. and there are no target sotres here. but no idea how that worked.

4513 being re-released in any form is definitely a myth.

If you are nice to them, any clicky can become your pal.  ;)

There were some other (pirates) sets as well shown in the Collector 3, that were never released. They were supposed to be US exclusives due for release short after the Collector 3 hit the bookshelves. Seems Geobra changed it's mind while or short after the C3 was in print. Nevertheless it is nice to see this way some things they had in mind but were never produced.
