Post by: Bill Blackhurst on February 29, 2012, 20:46:22
Hello Playmofriends! This following photo story is about the Playmobil City Fire Department District 1 Station 4 known as Station 14. This station has had additional apparatus assigned to it starting with Tower Ladder TL144 a replacement for the 3525 ladder truck that was assigned to this station originally. This Tower Ladder truck was received by total surprise from a Playmofriend that ignited my interest in the newest fire theme series that has continued to grow, Thank you Panos! This station has Engines E141, E142, E143, Tower Ladder TL144, SUV 1481, Specialty Trailer ST14A, Heavy Rescue HR147 with equipment trailer, SUV 1483, Fire Boat FB14, PCFD Photo Division Unit featuring Playmofires avatar as its supervisor & an assistant with an assigned SUV response vehicle numbered 1482. Playmofires avatar is in charge of all photography, & filming, of active rescue & fire scenes that will later be used in training & critiquing to be better prepared for future emergency situations. Playmobil City Emergency Medical Service Mobile Intensive Care Unit Medic 14 is also assigned to Station 14.

The PCFD piper that performs during special events & LODD funerals. He is a custom that I got from Emma that is one of my favorite figures! There has been one change that I was required to make with his bagpipes due to an unfriendly cat attack from KDK our in house problem child kitty! You can see where he originated from in this topic thread:

Panos had no idea what he was starting! I'm glad he did, it's great to see all your updated stations, and I know you've had a lot of fun doing it. I guess you have all these stations on display at the same time? That's remarkable.... that your wife puts up with it. :P But that's what mancaves are for, right? ;)

Love Emma's bagpiper too, and your repairs to it look great. I bet he's developed quite a phobia of cats! :omg:

A very interesting station with all the auxiliary services. Is 4 in a more quiet area of town?

Yes, Stations 14, 15, 24, & 25 are in the more residential areas of Playmobil City ;), but Stations 14 & 24 respond as mutual aid to any call at the Playmobil City International Airport as back up.

Thank you for the positive support of this project, everyone! I have only 7 more to show you.

Not a custom here, George. The only animal that maybe found in a station would be a Dalmatian dog. In FDNY they use cartoon characters as symbols of their particular unit.
