Title: Hello from Texas!

Hi, I'm new to the Playmofriends boards and fairly new to PM.  I am a stay at home mom to a soon to be 4-year-old boy.  He's is obsessively picking out what he wants from the PM catalog.  We have a few odds and ends already - police car, helicopter, pool with slide, the farm carry case.  He will be getting the Suburban house for his birthday.  I'm adding two extra floors, the side extensions, and a light kit.  His birthday is still a few months away but as we start assembly, I'll report how it's going.  I'll be looking forward to learning more about PM around here.  Now I'm off to search the threads with the key word "storage."   ;D

Storage is always the biggest problem, isn't it? You'll find lots of tips here, I'm sure!

Your son is lucky to be getting such a nice house for his birthday! You both will  have a lot of fun playing with it as there are many rooms of furniture and other accessories for that house.

Thanks for the warm welcome, y'all.  I guess Playmobil is a worldwide love!  From Texas to the Scottish Highlands.  I hope my friends up north are enjoying your snow.  It's still pretty warm down here in Texas.  I love the Scottish Highlands.  I spent part of my honeymoon on the Isle of Skye.  Well, our collection grew yesterday.  I made a trip over to Tuesday Mornings and found a few odds and ends on sale.  Nothing spectacular but things a little boy would love.  For those unfamiliar, Tuesday Mornings is a retail shop in the US that sells overstocks.  You never know what hodgepodge they will have but it's always fun to go in and see.
