Hi,
ok not really new but interesting !
Playmobil used a 3D CAD Software from Solidworks !

It appears that SOLIDWORKS (http://www.solidworks.com/pages/products/SolidWorks_for_Dummies.html) is a 3D add-on for AutoCad users. Which means that it's Windows specific (and expensive). However, Intel Mac owners can certainly use it if they want to spend the money.

yes, richard is right, it works with autocad.
it looks expensive.
an autocad license is also very expensive - i still remember the first one i bought, when it appeared in a windows platform: it was the biggest check i had writen.
autocad, by the way, is not made by microsoft - a company called autodesk produces it.
i just wish that linux free software people could come up with a good cad program one day.
it would save me a lot of money - to buy playmobils...
