Hello,
I'm a new member and I want to introduce myself.
I'm born in 1943 in the south of Holland.
My mother owned a toyshop, i think thats why I love toys.
I live now in the northwest of Holland and I;m retired.
So i picked up my love for toys, end started collecting Playmobil.
I go to fleemarkets, buy old and incomplete playmobil sets , clean them and try to get the sets complete.
I hope to find members that have inventory and/or pictures of old sets that can help me.
And i will gladly help anyone if i can.

AntA

Welcome AntA, from Stroud, England! Collecting PM sounds like a great hobby for retirement and I have learnt from other Dutch PF members (e.g. Raven and Mr. Raven) that there is a lot of old PM available in Holland!

For inventories of sets, PlaymoDB is a good starting point, as Ismene pointed out. For older sets, especially pre-1990, one of the best places to go is the topic >>Datenbank<< Setinhalt mit Inhaltsverzeichnis in the Playmobil Historie section of www.klickywelt.de where you will find photos of the set contents of many sets laid out. You need to register on Klickywelt to view the topic, but it's free to register and quite easy.

As there are some gaps in the inventories, both on PlaymoDB and Datenbank Setinhalt, I am slowly trying to fill those gaps, so I hope we will be able to help one another in the future!

Best Wishes
Graham
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

A warm welcome from North Yorkshire in the UK.

Another source of information is the archive section on the German Playmobil website.

Welcome here AntA.

Are you living in Friesland? It could be that we have met already when i bought some playmobil from you, and i mentioned Playmofriends then.  There's a lot of knowledge about playmobil between the members here.

Hello & welcome aboard from Belgium!

in the south of Holland.
in the northwest of Holland

Do you mean the province Holland, or the entire country?
With "Holland" we Belgians often mean The Netherlands...  :-[

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!
