Good afternoon dear Friends
I hope that you are well.
After a long period of heavy heat and draught which saw the very definition of a green and lush country last receiving a drop of rain in May, we are all ready to welcome the rain even if we have the famous Indian Dance to make it happen, a thunderstorm that both ourselves have been waiting for like the Messiah
Heavy heat difficult for people who work like myself in a suit and tie in a hotel which aircon simply cannot cope with the enduring heat we are having - so called luxury hotels are not always what one imagines - and great JOY today as day off and introduction of the wonderful custom figures created by my Friends from the online Playmo forums who I thank from the bottom of my heart for their amazing contribution to this project started in 2011
The Victorian Celebrities There is excitement in the air on Regent St this morning ! The news of the stormy and theatrical arrival of the infamous society columnist Louella Parsons accompanied by her dubious handyman and that devil of Times newspaper journalist Samuel Carter on Regent St spread though London like a powder fire and the morning tram is already filled with a crowd of visitors curious to see which high profile personality will be present today. The rumour has it that celebrities from show business and high society will attend the event so each and everyone are trying to get the best spot to enjoy the show around Louella Parsons who just relishes scandal and delights in gossip in her weekly column so greatly appreciated by her faithful readers and feared by those unfortunate to be her target and their reputation forever tainted by her poisonous pen. The first person to be the victime of that diabolical trio is Clarence the Porter who is moved away from his station to be replaced by 2 flamboyant feathered Guards. Young Peter will also pay the price of trying to have a closer look at the photographic equipment of Samuel Carter. And as the crowd is starting to gather, the first limousines are making their entrance on Regent St
