I'm Lori. I bought my first playmobil set in 1985, for my then 3 year old son. I also run a daycare and for years my older kids and alumni have enjoyed using it.
I recently acquired two big tubs of incomplete sets from a thrift store. I'm trying to sort and organize into as complete sets as I can, as well as catalog what's missing and try to get some replacements.

Welcome Lori, nice to have you join our group!
Now I am kind of curious what this first set that you bought for your son was. :)
I'm from the netherlands and was born in 1985, I believe my first set might have been a ghost but I am not sure, being the youngest of four kids there already was a lot of playmobil before I was born.
