Well where to begin . 8} My collection all started with having three sons. >:D  0) I did not want to overstimulate them with the traditional cheaply made short lived junk toy. One day I was at Target and came across the clearance toys and that's all it took. I am now infatuated with the little plastic world we are creating . We have , in a period of 10 months , collected some great items both new and old . my favorite is the construction sets . >:D's favorite is the castles or just about any waring clan (he is 6) :Lil:'s favorite is the race cars & trucks (he is 4). 0)'s favorite are all of it (& he is 2). i set up all i can in my home office all over the floor, tables , shelves, window sills, on the computer , just about any where we find room . It is set up all the time . My adult friends no longer come in as they fear the people might come to life . For now i like customising the System X buildings . As my name states i am controversial and i do at times put questionable hidden events in my pictures and i hope this board is more understanding of that. Well thank you for reading and hello and here i am .

hi! warm welcomes from nothern germany...
it took you three boys to start with playmobil? I already started at one.
I am very looking forward to your controversial stories. did you get with them into troupble somewhere before?
I am always happy to meet people from the US that appreciate the difference between playmobil and junk-plastics... :yup:
so, again welcome here...

Welcome from Oregon USA!

Welcome from Pennsylvania, USA. I have 2 boys 9 & 6 and 2 girls 4 & 1, and we all love Playmobil. We just got the Viking longboat and Noah's ark and a big battle tower that the Vikings have claimed. My favorites are the castles and ships. And animals. My kids favorites are, well, all of it. My four year old girl likes the princesses, unicorns, and hospital stuff. We are eagerly awaiting the Romans!

:**: cheers to ya fellow toy nuts. Right now i am enjoying Mac Gayvers pictures from the Germay private toy show . some day i am hoping many more people will wake up to the innocent playvalue of these toys in USA. then we might be able to host some exhibitions like those here . for now i get to at least enjoy the pictures . :)9

Welcome from sunny Fort Lauderdale ...

Hi Rasputin!
Welcome to PlaymoFriends! Hope you will enjoy your time here. :)
As my name states i am controversial and i do at times put questionable hidden events in my pictures and i hope this board is more understanding of that.
We do have some very young members on this forum. They are not as active as the adults, but they pop in and look at pictures from time to time. As long as your stories and pics are suitable for all age groups, then I see no reason why they would offend anyone. If you're still in any doubt, just ask one of the moderators before you post. ;)

Hello Everyone . Well I have been torn away from my beloved Playmo world do to a family matter and with mixed raw emotions i found myself dusting off the office and needing those ever-smiling faces. I have missed so much and I can not wait to catch up with old friends and new news . Also I would like to apologize for my abrupt exit some time ago .

Hello again Bill, it is nice to be back
Hi Klickus , It is nice to be missed , thank you
Greeting Gordon, Thanks, i must say the moment i logged on the muscles in my neck softened
:cloud9: I sure have been busy dusting off things and finding piles of unfinished projects. I stayed up till midnight organizing parts that i have not touched in over 6 months 8} It is kind of strange, I have been away from my collection for long enough that when i came back to it it was as though I was looking at somebody else's stuff :o ( and what a nut job he is , there is so much Playmobil )

When I get to Canada later this summer, it will be almost two years since I've visited my Playmobil collection.
I'm quite certain, Ras, that I'm going to have some of the same feelings that you had. Especially the one about realizing that only a "nut job" would have ever collected as much Playmobil as I have ... :lol: And, only a real "nut job" would laugh about it ... 8}
I wonder if there's a local chapter of Playmoholics Anonymous that I can join ... :woohoo:

:cham: :**: :help:
Actually, aren't we the opposite of a "self-help" group? Membership here just tempts us all to acquire more and more and more Playmobil - not that there's anything wrong with that! ;D I don't think it would go over too well at an AA meeting if people talked about all the bottles of fine old wine in their cellars or how many different kinds of whiskey in their wet bar or the fabulous new mixed drink they have just concocted. :hmm:

Well I am back at it. I was exiled, I was drugged, I was locked up, I was beaten, I was rescued. I recovered and that annoying little bug in me woke up. One thing that brings me joy is slowly rising and with new found clarity. Rasputin is back in the saddle and I started collecting again after a few years absence.
Please be patient with me as I sort out the new sets/themes I missed and old transactions I neglected. There is a pile in my mobile office destined for Europe.
-
Welcome back, you´re just in time as we´re having an off-topic debate in the novelties 2019 thread. ;D

Welcome back, you´re just in time as we´re having an off-topic debate in the novelties 2019 thread. ;D.
I promised quite a few people (including lawyers, judges & police chiefs) that I would behave. I guess I can’t get kicked out ,again, of the now deceased PCC (RIP) :'(
Sounds like you had a lot of fun :P
My kind of fun  >:D

Well, I’m back in the playmofriends saddle
Never stopped snapping up sets here and there
Unfortunately I now own mountain homes where there is very limited internet. It’s off grid and the only way to brows the web is to run generators and use satellite connections .
Middle of 1,000,000 acres of National Forest in a gated community
I come to the city once a week for a few hours to check on our other properties
-
Welcome back Rasputin!
Hope you stick around :)
-
Unfortunately things get rather hectic? So as usual I’ll come and go erratically
Still loving playmo and enjoying catching up in playmofriends

Plus we get these lovely events up where we now have mountain houses
