Police Truck 5974: An American Exclusive?
« on: April 28, 2012, 13:09:04 »

A picture of this truck was on the Playmobil Fanbase Facebook page, and I couldn't find it anywhere else. I'd say it's an American exclusive, like the school bus or the fire truck, but it has a European liscense plate ???.

It looks as if it owes some parentage to this:

Do the front wheels turn? Or is that picture just bizarre looking? :-\

Could it be a custom? It's weird how it says XX pc. Seems either they would say how many, or leave that off altogether. ???

If it is based on the 3181, it can take the RC unit and then the front wheels do turn.

Good point, BB.

I hope it becomes a reality! PCPD would really like to have some of these!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

Really? I think that the background, the City Action logo, the look of the truck, all looks official. I know I've seen that XX for the parts before on sets that weren't released yet  :).

thanks once again Ace for the news update

when sets are not yet on the market Geobra many times puts the XX on parts quantities

The whole truck looks bent which may give the illusion the wheels are turned, but it does look like they really are turned. I think Geobra gives a lot of misleading images

These types of sets remind my wife of the movie Toys w/Robin Williams. The old man is retiring and the new leader is giving us very dark, aggressive, war oriented toys  :hmm:

I will no doubt get it as it is playmobil after all  :P

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:
